Nancy’s Legacy

Nancy Mitchell, Food Share of Lincoln County’s long-time Director has retired after an astonishing service history.

We recommend donations of $30 or $300, in recognition of Nancy’s 30 years of service to the Food Share!

As a Director, Nancy has overseen many years of food assistance in Lincoln County. In fact, our current data and files don’t even go back that far to find out how many pounds of food Nancy has been a part in distributing.

Food Share of Lincoln County hands out over 1,000,000 pounds of food annually equating to over 4,000,000 meals…every year. In 30 years that’s 30,000,000 pounds of food and 120,000,000 meals! We think it is safe to say that Nancy has truly left an amazing legacy here.

Please join us to celebrate Nancy’s legacy on August 30th at the Visual Arts Center from 2 pm to 5 pm. It will be an open house so come as you will and help us celebrate Nancy and her years of dedicated service to her community.
